Are you thinking of getting married abroad but a little overwhelmed with where to start? – There’s a vast number of possible venues and wedding planners, but it’s like trying to negotiate through a forest blind, as you thought you wanted sea views but now you’ve seen a rustic place that looks just beautiful. Is it going to be within budget, dare I even enquire?
If this scenario sounds all to familiar to you as you begin your wedding planning, then take a step back for a second and work out some vital info which in turn will help no end in shortlisting your options. We always ask our couples the following questions:
- What are your approximate number of wedding guests?
- Do you have a date in mind? Even if it’s not a particular date, maybe a month or day of the week. Also, are you flexible in this?
- Are you looking for a Catholic Church Wedding or a Romantic Blessing?
- Do you have an idea of the type of venue you have in mind, and are you open to possible suggestions too?
We never initially ask for a budget, which may sound strange. The reason for this is that we are very much aware that having probably never gotten married before, it’s unlikely at the start of wedding planning you will have any idea of costings for a Wedding in Spain. With the above details we can send you over our complete package prices and venue suggestions and then it’s clear and simple for you to see if it’s something you would be interested in or no.
Of course guest numbers can change up until much closer to the Wedding date, but to give a realistic initial quote it’s crucial we have an approximate number of guests. Some venues also have guest number minimums applicable either always or on certain dates.
Being flexible on possible Wedding date/s is also something that’s useful for us to know. Marbella Beach Clubs in particular have very different pricing applicable to different days of the week and months of the year.
