What leaving the EU means for British couples marrying in Spain

Since’s Thursday’s OUT vote, there has been a lot of panic and concern for future relations between the UK and Europe. Although no changes will be implemented immediately, the fear of the unknown and future uncertainty has left a lot of Brits in panic mode.

Although the currency exchange has an obvious effect, other than this there is unlikely to be too many more issues that will affect getting married abroad. For the Catholic Church Weddings, these are and have always been, an International possibility, and for the romantic blessings, as the civil ceremony is always done in the home country beforehand anyway, there again is unlikely to be any changes.

We are aware that many couples may feel a little nervous about planning their Wedding in Spain now, but there really is no need to panic, we are still here offering the same Wedding planning service, and our venues are offering the same Wedding packages. We aim to work with reducing the stress and uncertainty as much as possible, and will keep all couples updated as to any changes along the way.
