Yesterday’s Wedding taught us a thing or two about how to make your Wedding day unique and personal to you. We see a lot of great ideas throughout the year, yesterday’s though was very impressive and had obviously been though about in some depth.
Jenny and Leon who married on the eve of their 8th Anniversary at Sunset Beach Club in Benalmadena, tied the knot at a seafront ceremony before moving inside for the Wedding breakfast at the Sala Malaga.
On a usual Wedding day, as the Wedding planner, part of our job entails putting out any special decorations that have been brought over by the bride and groom as well as the flowers and name places etc. Jenny and Leon, ever the polite pair, opted to do their decorations an favours themselves and spent, what I can only imagine would have been at least several hours, putting the final touches together.
When I arrived at Sunset Beach and checked on everything, I was blown away by the attention to detail that Jenny and Leon had gone to.
Jenny had hand made her bouquet, bouquets for all five of her bridesmaids, as well as buttonholes for the groom, groomsmen and fathers. Each bouquet was made up of tiny stars, hand covered in origami paper and then pinned together:
For the Wedding reception, each table was named after a different place that was important to the couple and where they had travelled together. This had then been taken one step further, each table had different favours that corresponded to it’s said location:
Tapas and cava in Barcelona:
Mini buckets and spades with “Mr & Mrs” rock on the Bournemouth table:
Traditional cloth with cocoa beans in Ghana:
Fortune cookies in Hong Kong:
Regent Street mints in London:
Chocolate coins for the Nottingham table:
Macaroons in Paris:
All in all it was a beautiful Wedding with a lovely bride and groom, we would like to congratulate the new Mr & Mrs Tetteh on the start of their life together as Man and Wife.
