Our First Wedding of 2016!

As we mentioned in our previous posts, our first Wedding of 2016 took place on Saturday at Sunset Beach Club in Benalmadena.

Sunset Beach Club offer amazing value Wedding packages and between the months of October-May, these packages are discounted even further with their unbelievable “low and mid season” offers.

February Weather

Trish and Ian took advantage of the free week’s accommodation included in the low season Wedding package offer and arrived here in Spain last Wednesday. We met on the afternoon that they arrived for their final meeting to go over all of the details and to calm any last minute nerves. The weather for Saturday was forecast as clear and dry, which was great news for everyone.

As Saturday arrived, we went through the usual preparations – Venue decorations and flower delivery whilst Trish had her hair and make-up done, we then assembled the guests on the promenade ready for the bride’s arrival. The weather was fair, if not a little breezy, but much better I’m sure than it would have been at their hometown in Liverpool!

As the guests stood and Trish approached the aisle, in a moment that can only be described as magical, the clouds parted and the sun shone bright. The weather stayed clear throughout the unique ceremony performed by their close friend.

February Wedding Ceremony

After the ceremony we then moved in to the pool bar for drinks and canapes before heading up to the newly refurbished and extended Sala Malaga suite. Dinner was served and before long we were waving our goodbyes as the music started and the dancefloor began to fill.

Orange is the new Black!

Congratulations to the lovely bride and groom – Mr & Mrs Billington.
