Feeling the love

It has been a ridiculously busy last few weeks, my feet have barely touched the ground and I’ve felt in a complete daze. Between weddings, emails and meetings I’ve not even had a spare second to eat or drink let alone leave the house to catch up with friends or family.

A lot of people think that Wedding planning is a dream job, which yes, to an extent it is. But what a lot of people don’t realise is that we don’t just simply attend weddings and eat nice food, we answer emails morning noon and night, we queue at banks to withdraw payments and make transfer, we spend hours in line at civil registries and at Churches, we also have meetings with venues to go over changes, updates and taster meals. It can be thoroughly exhausting and begin to feel like it’s never ending, especially in the peak Wedding months of May, June and September.

All of the hard work and late nights is made worthwhile though when we receive just one letter of thanks from a happy couple, so you can imagine my delight this week to have received thanks back from not 1, not 2 but 7 happy couples!
