It has been an extraordinarily busy week this week and the soaring temperatures have left me very much looking forward to a nice Sunday morning lie in tomorrow!
The week started with Carmena & Chris’ Wedding, the lovely couple tied the knot at Santo Domingo Church in Benalmadena Pueblo, before heading back for an initimate reception with their 20 guests at Sunset Beach Club.
Tuesday then saw the marriage of Deirdre and Barry, similarly to Monday, the couple’s Wedding ceremony took place at Santo Domingo Church before heading back to Salitos bar for drinks and then on to Sunset Beach Club for reception. Deirdre and Barry had a wild night with entertainment for the evening by Double Cocktail and also a photobooth for their guests to enjoy.
Wednesday was wedding-less, which was fortunate for me as it meant time to catch up on the office work and emails as well as preparing of course for Thursday’s celebrations.
Thursday 28th August was the Wedding of Ashleigh and Mike, their day ran a little differently as they had a seafront ceremony on the promenade at Sunset Beach Club performed by Anthony Wilcox and then reception afterwards at Luna Beach Club. The couple and their party enjoyed a beach BBQ and laid back atmosphere before deciding to take on the #IceBucketChallenge. All I can say is that this was a first for me, the bride, groom and entire bridal party covered themselves in ice all in aid of the ALS charity fundraising scheme. After being soaked, not once, but twice, the bride then decided that she may as well take a dip in the sea! I must say I am looking forward to seeing the photos and video from this one!
You may think by Friday I’d have chance to take a little time off, but you’d be wrong! I spent yesterday at the Civil registry office, processing the paperwork for Deirdre & Barry and Chris & Carmena, before dropping their certificates in to them and then heading back once again for more office work.
All in all it has been a breath-lessly busy week, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Congratulations to each of the three beautiful couples/families, it has been a pleasure to be a part of your big days and I can’t wait until I’m sent the professional photographs! For now, here are a couple of snaps from my mobile!
