Is visiting your chosen Wedding venue in Spain crucial before booking?

Your Wedding day is going to be one of the most important days of your life, so where you spend this day is of course a huge decision!

Whether you have decided to get married at home or have your Wedding abroad, choosing the right venue can sometimes be a difficult choice to make. So, if you are getting married in Spain, is it crucial that you visit your venue before you go ahead and book your Wedding there?

Well the truth is, it depends… It depends if you feel you have enough information, if you know who you are booking with is a reputable company, if you know the area and most of all, if you feel confident and happy enough to book or not.

Of course, the ideal scenario is that you would be able to compile a shortlist of your preferred venue options in Spain, ones that you have researched first online, and then come over and look around these preferred locations and see which one feels best for you.

However, visiting Spain before your Wedding may not always be possible, what with work commitments, childcare struggles and of course the cost of flights and hotel for your stay. If this is the case for you, then try not to be too disheartened, the benefit you have of planning an abroad Wedding is a dedicated Wedding Planner, not someone working for a hotel who is trying to sell you their venue, but instead a wedding planning service thatis personal to you and someone who can give you invaluable expertise about the venues that you are considering along with pro’s and con’s and past experiences at each location.

Wedding planners in Spain have first hand experience of Weddings at all of their venues, so cash in on this! Ask about the food, the service, the staff, the accommodation…. We understand what an important decision this is for any couple and will always be happy to help!
