Today has been a very busy but enjoyable day. We have been visiting new wedding venues in Gibraltar and Marbella.
We started off at La Caleta Hotel in Gibraltar at 10am, the hotel has various beautiful terraces jutting out over the ocean and cater for various group sizes.
We then braved the Gibraltar cable cars and went up to Mons Calpe Suite, and wow was it worth it! I was completely breathtaken by the utter beauty of it’s location, with panoramic sea views over to Spain and even Morrocco, this venue is well and truly unique. How many other weddings have you been to where the only access is by cable car?!
Before leaving Gibraltar, we visited the Alameda Botanical Gardens, which is a very popular venue for civil ceremonies and it’s hardly surprising, the naturally beautiful setting is totally unpoilt and offers exquisite private areas for wedding ceremonies as well as some picturesque photography spots.
We then headed back accross the border and visited Buddha Beach in Puerto Banus, La Sala Puerto Banus and Don Carlos Hotel in Marbella, all of these have their own unique beauty with various options for different group sizes.
It has been a long day and a very early start but very successful. Each and every venue we visited took my breath away, I knew there were some nice wedding venue options but had no idea of bespoke options available. Time for some follow up homework now before an early night and trip to Estepona in the morning!
